Founded on the legacy of Nakahori Co., Ltd., a family incense company established in 1935, Tokyo Kodo carries forward three generations of craft while opening incense to new global audiences.

Behind the brand are Chikako Perez, trained in textile design in Tokyo and perfumery in Grasse, and Geoffrey Perez, who brings over a decade of expertise in natural fragrance materials. Together, they weave East and West, past and present, into scents that inspire serenity and beauty.
